-in class writing--seven or eight minutes of writing based on one of those 'questions'
-switch and revise leads....
-your prompt/essay due next time is this: What does your clothing say about you? By CLOTHING, I mean not only your clothes that you wear, but also accessories like jewelry, piercings, lucky charms, uniforms, etc etc THIS MUST BE PRINTED OUT BEFORE YOU COME TO CLASS!!

-on sheet #21, please take one of the topic sentences and FORMALLY WRITE OUT A WELL CRAFTED PARAGRAPH. This should be about a half a page or more. Use supporting details and transition words as we discussed

-review exercises in the vocab workbooks....exercise 1, 2, 3 starting on page 8
-study for quiz which will be on Friday!

-focus on effective leads with QAQS strategies...
-"dark and stormy" examples
-"question game" activity with partners for about ten minutes
-focused piece of writing--focus on leads--for about 9 minutes
-your first GRADED essay piece is due on Friday...MAKE SURE IT IS TYPED AND PRINTED OUT BEFORE YOU COME IN!!!! "Describe what your clothing says about you. Remember, 'clothing' can be defined as the clothes you wear....but it also entails 'accessories' like bags, hats, purses, jewelery, piercings, or anything else you carry on your 'person.'
The essay will be graded on VOICE and your LEAD
