1. Paragraph writing
a. continue with Warriners book on pages 14-17....
b. read "Snow" paragraph and discuss/answer questions....
c. discuss importance of topic sentences with REASONS or EXAMPLES
d. please write (at least 1/2 page) answering the following prompt: "What is something that is a huge problem in America?" Your paragraph should have a TOPIC SENTENCE and it should have VERY CLEAR supporting details!!!!
COLLEGE ENGLISH
1. You folks are following the black day plan, so please see their class from yesterday. There are a couple of things especially for you though...
1. Your FINAL COPY of personal narrative will be due next THURSDAY
2. PLEASE complete #3 on the back of the 'sentence variety story' sheet we used today (the story about Jay and kayaks....)...change at least four or five of the sentence beginnings to reflect the sentence variety strategies we have been talking about...
We will workshop our papers on Tuesday!! Fun!!!
