ORANGE DAY

DUAL ENROLLMENT ENGLISH

1. Give syllabus for "Thomas" portion of class--explain logistics of how writing is done...
2. Literary Devices
-go over 1-15 worksheet you were to complete
-hear examples of your own from information map
-all of these were participation grades!
-assign 'literary terms' paper--this is due for both sections next THURSDAY

**Note: Guidance will see block 2 on Tuesday, and block 4 on Thursday


JUNIOR COLLEGE PREP

1. Vocabulary test 1
2. "Red Badge"
-go over chapters 3-5 with study guide and 'identifications'
-make sure you understand HOW to do identifications, as we will use these throughout the year
-we did not get to read together in class, but we will do more on Tuesday...
-please read chapters 6, 7, and 8 for next time
-we will have a TEST ON TUESDAY that will entail everything from Stephen Crane notes, Realism notes, and everything from chapters 1 through 8.....make sure to read and look over your study guides, etc....
