1. MOTE CRISTO
-reading check quiz on 12-16
-go over reading via quiz...answer questions...
-show selected scenes of film...imprisonment...Villefort....escape...Faria....etc so we can better understand character relationships...
-Please read chapter 17, 18, and 19 only for next time...this is a pretty short assignment
-next class there will be a TEST (no notes allowed) on everything through chapter SIXTEEN (study background, class notes, etc!!
-next time we will view a few more clips of the film and skip a couple of chapters in between before moving on....

CP 9

1. Vocabulary quiz in class today
2. IATC
-discuss chapt 7, 8, 9, 10 by writing IDs on board and splitting up class to 'jigsaw' them
-discus these IDs and explain relevance to the story
-prepare yourself for Friday's test, which will be on everything up THROUGH chapter 12...study your notes, study guides, etc!
-the only two chapters you had to read for HW for 11 and 12...a very short reading assignment.....

DUAL ENROLLMENT

1. Greek root test is on FRIDAY
2. THE COUNT OF MONTE CRISTO
-finish background notes on theme, etc
-distribute books
-begin reading in class together....then read on own for fifteen minutes...
-please read chapters 1 THROUGH 7 for Friday's class.....
